www.welcombe.org.uk - local information The parish of Welcombe comprises a scattered group of hamlets incorporating approximately 100 households. The village sits astride a deep valley which leads a meandering stream to the cliff edge at Welcombe Mouth where it ends in a picturesque waterfall.
www.bigbluesurfschool.co.uk - surfing At Big Blue Surf School we are qualified and experienced at coaching all levels of surfer, from beginner to elite. With a coaching ratio of one coach to every eight students, our courses are designed to be excellent value for money. They are also very flexible; you can book any length of course you wish with 2 ½ to 3 our lessons as frequently or infrequently as you like.
The Old Smithy - the local inn A free house offering a variety of real ales. Chef Lee prepares a range of interesting dishes, made using locally sourced ingredients. Fish is often available freshly caught in our local waters. Frequently the fish is from the harbour at Clovelly where our local fishing is based.
